I have been teaching for over ten years and i love the job. My focus is on maintaining a healthy balance between hard work and smart work. One should know when to push a student and when to give them the breathing room. Success is not achieved through shortcuts but by keeping a constant pace.
My teaching and tutoring focuses on active learning by the student, which can include having the student create their own problems and applying concepts across a variety of examples and situations. I like to approach subjects from multiple avenues depending on students' preferred learning styles. I am patient and empathetic, but also demanding and like to push students.
